Fortec Motorsports is delighted to announce the signing of Stefan Bostandjiev for the 2025 GB3 Championship season
The 20-year-old Bulgarian racer, currently based in London, has been competing in sportscar racing for the past four years, achieving podium finishes in his debut season in GT4 Germany.
In 2023 he progressed to the GT4 European Series and, last season, competed in a Lamborghini in Super Trofeo Europe and at the World Finals. He also made his debut appearance at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and had his first experience racing in GT3 machinery, and was featured in The First Lap: The Bulgarian Racing Dream, a documentary chronicling his and his team’s journey.
For 2025, Stefan embarks on a brand-new challenge as he makes his single-seater debut, joining Fortec Motorsports, a multiple race and championship-winning team, to compete in the GB3 Championship.
This season also brings new challenges for the entire grid with the introduction of the Tatuus MSV GB3-025. The updated chassis features DRS, increased downforce without added drag, and a new front wing and endplate assembly. Competitors will also benefit from increased power provided by the Mountune engine and wider tyres at both the front and rear.
Additionally, the 2025 calendar introduces a fourth European race on a current Formula One World Championship circuit. The season finale will take place at Monza in October, alongside visits to iconic circuits such as Silverstone, Zandvoort, Spa-Francorchamps, Hungaroring, Brands Hatch, and Donington Park.

Stefan Bostandjiev
“I’m incredibly humbled and excited to take this next step in my career and make the jump from sportscar and endurance racing to single-seaters with a team as decorated as Fortec Motorsport. It’s an unconventional route, but one I’m ready to maximise, as I’m hungry to prove that any barrier can be broken with the right commitment and drive. Having only started racing karts at 15, time is a luxury I haven’t often enjoyed, so I’ve grown familiar with the need to adapt to new cars and new tracks quickly. This move is another fresh challenge that I’m eager to take on.
“With the new GB3 Championship car and a strong European calendar, this series provides the perfect platform for me to develop my skills in a highly competitive environment. I can’t wait to drive the new car and see what Fortec and I can achieve this season.”
Oliver Dutton, Team Principal

With the new Tatuus MSV GB3-025 and an exciting calendar ahead, we are confident that Stefan will thrive and make a strong impression this season. We’re looking forward to working with him and seeing what we can achieve together.”
