Fortec Motorsports is set to open its F4 British Championship campaign this weekend (April 27/28) as the team and its three driver line-up head to Donington Park.
Fielding a completely new roster for the 2024 season, the team will be represented by series returnee Kai Daryanani and exciting debutants Nina Gademan and Alex Berg at the Leicestershire circuit.
Kai, a Hong Kong-based Indian racer, has experience not only in British F4 but also in F4 UAE, Euro 4, South-East Asia F4, GB4, and Spanish F4, and was handed the Pirelli Hardest Charger Award at Oulton Park last season, after some excellent performances.
An accomplished karter, Nina represented the Netherlands at the 2019 FIA Motorsport Games, claiming a Karting Slalom Gold medal, and was part of the FIA Girls on Track European Team. She is also a driver coach, YouTuber, and has a large following on social media.
Last, but by no means least, Alex hails from Canada. He won the Mazda South Region championship title in 2022 and earned the Omologato Award for the perfectly timed move of the race at VIRginia International Raceway in his debut F4 US season and clinched his maiden series victory last year.
All three drivers will have two 45-minute practice sessions at Donington Park on Thursday, April 25th, before heading into qualifying on Saturday 27th at 10:25. The first of the weekend’s three 20-minute races takes place that afternoon at 14:50, followed by race two on Sunday morning at 09:25.
The third and final contest is scheduled for 13:45, with live coverage on ITV4, while updates will be carried across Fortec Motorsport’s social media channels on all three days.
