Fortec Motorsports is proud to announce the return of 16-year-old South African racer Mika Abrahams to the team, competing in the GB3 Championship for 2025.
Mika, who competed with Fortec during the 2023 F4 British Championship, makes a welcome return to the Daventry-based outfit following an impressive debut year of racing.
During his 2023 campaign, he made history by becoming the first African driver to secure a double pole position at Donington Park—an achievement that marked a significant milestone for African motorsport on the international stage.
His recent testing performance earlier this month reaffirmed his pace and determination and, with preparations well underway, Fortec Motorsports is optimistic about the year ahead and confident in the promising young talent they have on board.
The 2025 GB3 Championship season gets underway at Silverstone this coming weekend (April 26/27), where Mika will link up with teammate Stefan Bostandjiev. The series features 24 races across the UK and Europe, which includes five visits to current Formula 1 World Championship venues.
