Fortec Motorsport are pleased to confirm British rising star Oliver Bearman will complete their three-car entry for the 2021 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship.
Bearman will compete in selected rounds of the UK’s premier single-seater series with the Daventry-based team alongside his existing commitments in the German and Italian Formula 4 Championships.
The 16-year-old graduated to single seaters during the pandemic-hit 2020 season after a silverware-laden CV in karting, including the European and World titles at Junior X30 level, with his first victories following shortly after at Hockenheim (ADAC F4) and Vallelunga (Italian F4).
His successful first steps on the FIA Single Seater Pyramid have prompted a part-time graduation to F3 with the front running Fortec outfit for 2021 alongside a pair of Formula 4 title challenges.
Bearman will join up with new team-mates Roberto Faria and Mikkel Grundtvig this week ahead of the season opening triple-header on Brands Hatch’s iconic Grand Prix circuit (22-23 May).
